GET READY, GET SET, LET’S GO!!!
Preparations are underway at Tools 4 Schools Teacher Supply Store
For the School Supply Drive 500
September 1-September 30, 2016
Imagine trying to write without a pencil, color without a crayon, and learn to read without a book… That’s a reality for many students in the public school system. Many families are struggling to provide food and shelter for their children and are unable to provide the basic tools for learning.
We have teachers that continuously dip into their own pockets to purchase supplies to support their classrooms and projects. We have first year teachers that begin with very little budgets to prepare their classrooms into the creative environments to stimulate creative thinking with their students.
We ask members of the community to come together to support our initiative, free school and classroom supplies for teachers and students in need. The donated supplies keep the Tools 4 Schools shelves stocked with the necessary basics for the entire school year.
Hosting a drive is simple! Put a collection box out at your place of business or civic group meeting and ask co-workers, members or customers to bring in new school supplies. With the support of people like you, we can provide brand new supplies to teachers and students in need for FREE.
If you are interested in participating in our School Supply Drive 500, just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll send you more information to get your team started!!!

SPRING HILL --
A store just for teachers just opened in Hernando County.
It's full of classroom supplies and more, but what makes it special is that everything in it is free.
The new Tools 4 Schools store is on the campus of Springstead High School. The county's teachers can stop by once a month and grab supplies for their classrooms.
High school teacher Chris Auricchio says he can't believe a place like this exists.
"We had heard about it at the beginning of the year, but I didn't expect it to be like this," he said.
Tammy Brinker with the Hernando County Education Foundation, which set everything up, says teachers can easily spend $500 to $600 a year of their own money on supplies. But the store aims to change that.
"It is completely funded through donations and sponsors throughout our county," Brinker said.
The Hernando County Education Foundation is always looking for donations so they can keep the free store open.
